SHADOWELOC CHRONICLES - Chapter 6
BY JUBILEE SHADOWELOC

Jubilee's eyes snapped open. The lunch bell had rung. She stood up and stretched. She had an interesting catnap, and from the look of the teacher it looked like she agreed. Jubilee walked outside. She leaned against her tree. She pulled a pair of wrap-around sunglasses on her eyes. Her eyes were especially sensitive to the sun. Besides she had dark rings around her eyes. She had been up all night trying to find a way to break that aura spell. Sailor Moon's aura was deathly ill. Jubilee had guessed that she was the future Queen. Her aura gave off that kind of power. She was an old soul. There are only a few souls that live on continuously. There are the immortals, like vampires, shapeshifters, the occasional witch; the warriors and protectors, like those Senshi; and royalty, not just Queen of England royalty, royalty fated by the stars. That Tuxedo character was an important one as well. He, too, must not die. Jubilee got the impression that he was the King. It would not be good if any of them died. Jubilee had researched the entire night through her mother's books trying to find something. All she found that the only way such amatuers were getting such power is that they must be empowered from another source. A break in the fate line, some kind of crystal, or Jubilee's worst fear: a more powerful witch. Jubilee, as far as she knew, was the most powerful witch alive, but that was because she was the descendent of a God. She had power that was almost unmatchable. And if it was another witch, she would be in trouble. She felt something. Some weak calling. Jubilee tried the astral plane. There was another break, this time it was through the Underworld. Jubilee was weak. She had expended too much energy, but she should probably go check out the break. She tossed her apple in the garbage can and started to walk away.
"There she goes again!" the red-head said.
"Mako-chan! Leave her alone! She is very nice!" Usagi snapped. She coughed and leaned backwards. Jubilee spun around. She stared at them for a full minute. All of their auras, they were weakening, but not as bad as Usagi. Those auras, that power. Jubilee laughed as she realized she was staring at three of those Senshi and the future Queen of the universe.

"What?!" the red-head bellowed starting to stand up. Jubilee turned and walked away. She rushed to the area of the break. It was an abandoned classroom. There were ghosts flying about the classroom. So far they hadn't escaped the area of the break. All Jubilee had to do was get them back into the crack and seal it up. It seemed easy enough, but controlling the dead is not all that easy. The were tearing apart the room. Jubilee stood with her feet apart. They were running out of astral energy. Soon, they will have no energy left, unless they started to feed off the living. Once they run our of energy, they are sucked back into the underworld. She closed her eyes and started to gather their energy into one area. These were the newly dead. They had a lot of energy and many reasons to come back. They were fighters. This wasn't some random crack in the Underworld, someone knew what they were doing. She watched as the lights surrounding the ghosts faded. One by one they disappeared. Now it is time to seal the crack, she thought to herself. There was a flash of blinding light.
"Wait!" a voice called. Jubilee's eyes snapped open. There was a huge mass of energy in the center of the room. There was a figure struggling to get through.
"Who are you?" Jubilee asked.
"I am Destinie. Destinie Chimera," a figure settled in the energy.
"That name......"
"Yes, you awakened the Senshi part of me, and because of that I am grateful."
"But weren't you killed because of it?"
"Yes, but I will live again. And I met my soulmate."
"Why are you here?"
"I bring a message from the Gods and Goddesses, and from Selenity, the mother of the Queen."
"Yes, what is it?"
"From your father as well.........You must save the Senshi and the future Queen and King. They lay dying. Their spiritual paths are leading straight for the Underworld. You have the power within you, but before they can be cured, you must defeat the new coven. Yes, the new enemies are made of a coven of mortals being controlled by a source of higher power. They are being lead, by a non-mortal however."
"There is another immortal witch?"
"No......he is a non-mortal. He isn't immortal, and he isn't mortal."
"What does that mean?"
"Something from long ago.....they want you. You have possessed the source of their power. From long ago........" she was fading. The energy was nearly gone.
"Long ago........." she was gone. Jubilee was stunned. She didn't understand that message, but quite often the dead forget the living don't see everything that is going on.
"Long ago? Is there something I have forgotten? I have only had powers for a couple years. I've done so much. Maybe from a former life. I just don't understand," she closed the crack and walked out the door of the classroom.
"Quite impressive, Shadoweloc. You managed to close that crack all by yourself," a voice said. Jubilee gasped. She looked up into the face of the boy she had seen earlier.
"You?" she whispered.
"Yes, I know a lot more than you think I do."
"Do I know you from somewhere?" Jubilee asked. The boy frowned.
"You don't remember me? Well, I'm not suprised. It was so long ago........." he turned and walked away.
"So long ago........" his words repeated in her mind. He was right, she had seen him somewhere before. She searched her memories. She had met him long ago.........
